Painting in the trunk
Yes that's right. I'm about to bring my work to Slidell and I see this place where the canvas shows through. This particular artwork was made mostly in a creative frenzy so it is not unusual to notice needed touch ups at the end. So the painting is in the trunk of my car, and I have a brush in one hand and two tubes of paint in the other. Reminds me of a story told by one of my art teachers about a painter who got himself invited to dinner at a house where one of his paintings hung, and they found him in there with little tubes of paints and a tiny brush.
