I'm writing a new song! The creativity is flowing...heard some music, made some music, took in some art, made some art.....now I am working on an entry for a juried show and finally feel pleased with my current work. It was hard to choose three, which is a good sign.

Update:  I got rejected, a common enough event in the life of an artist, writer, or musician eagerly awaiting news of their submission. I SUBMIT! I SUBMIT! this part of sharing one's deepest self to the mercy of critics is one of the harder parts of being an artist. But I'm going to try not to let it bring me down and continue working. The impressionists got rejected too. and Dr Seuss, and Einstein.
